About Us

Where future consultants learn to think like consultants.

Case interviews are the key step in every consulting application. Yet many students have no structured way to prepare for them, especially early in their studies.

CaseLab Vienna closes this gap. We organise case workshops and talks led by professionals from the consulting industry, open to all students, complemented by regular case sessions where members practise together.

2. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (USA). When you visit the website, the hosting provider automatically processes technical data that your browser transmits, in particular your IP address, date and time of access, the page requested, the referring page and browser/device information. This is technically necessary to deliver the website and to ensure its security and stability.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and reliable operation of the website). Netlify processes this data on our behalf. Data may be transferred to the USA; such transfers are based on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and/or EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

3. Contact form and email

If you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process the data you provide: name, email address, your area of interest, university and study program or company (optional), and your message. We use this data solely to handle your request (e.g. membership enquiries, partnership requests or general questions).

Submissions from the contact form are forwarded to our email inbox via the service FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), which passes the content of the form on to us by email. In doing so, your data may be processed on servers outside the EU.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, insofar as your request relates to membership or a potential partnership (pre-contractual measures); otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in answering enquiries) and your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, which you give by ticking the checkbox in the form. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by sending an email to office@caselab.at.

Access to your data is limited to the person responsible named above.

4. Storage period

We delete your enquiry and the associated data one year after our last contact with you, unless you have become a member or partner (in which case we retain the data for as long as that relationship lasts) or statutory retention obligations require longer storage.

5. Cookies, tracking and fonts

This website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking tools. The fonts used are hosted locally on our server; no connection to Google or other font providers is established. Links to LinkedIn and Instagram are simple links: data is only transmitted to these platforms if you click on them, in which case their own privacy policies apply.

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR),
  • rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR),
  • erasure of your data (Art. 17 GDPR),
  • restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
  • data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
  • object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR),
  • withdraw your consent at any time (Art. 7 (3) GDPR).
